Het tweede concert (21.00 uur) staat volledig in het teken van de diepe vriendschap tussen Rachmaninov en Tsjaikovski, waarschijnlijk de belangrijkste musicus uit Rachmaninovs leven. De wonderschone Trio élégiaque No. 2 is niet alleen een Trio gewijd aan Tsjaikovski's plotselinge dood, maar eigenlijk vooral een diep emotioneel gesprek. Zonder woorden, en daarom nog sprekender.

Het eerste concert (19.00 uur) is een soort collage van verschillende beelden van Rachmaninovs leven.
Verschillende periodes van zijn leven, en totaal verschillende stijlen van zelfexpressie in de muziek, worden belicht en tot klinken gebracht.
Van opus 2 tot opus 39, incl. zijn meest beroemde preludes, de prachtige Trio élégiaque No.1, Vocalise en verschillende interessante transcripties, vergezeld van allerlei verhalen en anekdotes die verband houden met zijn composities en persoonlijkheid.
