As a devoted admirer of the viola, I am thrilled to collaborate with one of the Netherlands' finest violists, Julia Dinerstein.
Julia is not only a member of numerous chamber ensembles but also a respected professor at the conservatories of Maastricht, Rotterdam, and Zwolle.

Together, we will perform two captivating viola sonatas from 1919—one by Ernest Bloch and the other by Paul Hindemith—alongside the gem of the viola repertoire, the sonata by Rebecca Clarke.

More than a recital, this is a journey through 13 tales from around the globe, accompanied by carefully selected piano miniatures by Chopin, Gershwin, Scriabin, Barber, Schumann, and many others.

Italian writer Bianca Soria, who has lived in Australia, China, Japan, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain, brings to life the stories of people who left their homes to start new lives in the Netherlands. Through her book, she captures their adventures, challenges, love stories, and dreams. This program intertwines these narratives with the magic of music.

On October 12, Sofia will present a surprising musical program together with violinist Lisa Jacobs, cellist Aleksandra Kaspera and pianist Andrey Nesterenko. Together, they will present unique project Take Me Home, a program centered around the feeling of “being at home.”

In short: a diverse blend of musical styles, original transcriptions (from classical to modern), all woven into a touching story about human emotions.

Op 12 oktober brengt Sofia een verrassend muzikaal programma onder meer met de bekende musici: violiste Lisa Jacobs en Aleksandra Kaspera op cello. Zij brengen het programma “take me home”. Het gaat over het gevoel van “thuis zijn”.

Kortom: veel muziekstijlen, eigen transcripties (van klassiek tot modern) en alles is verbonden tot een ontroerend verhaal over onze menselijke gevoelens.
